March 20, 2020
On Monday, March 23, 2020, we will close our office to the public in order to do our part to curtail the spread of COVID-19. We will remain closed until further notice. As long as our office staff remains healthy we will continue to work on business days, and we will schedule teleconferences with current and prospective clients until our office reopens. We have a drop slot on the front door of our office which may be utilized to drop off letters, documents and small packages. We will continue to communicate with our clients by phone and email.
The Honorable Harold D. Melton, Chief Justice of the Georgia Supreme Court, has declared a statewide judicial emergency suspending all court functions in all courts in all counties with certain limited exceptions (ie. cases involving family violence). The suspension is set to expire after April 13, 2020, but it may be extended depending upon the circumstances then existing. While this suspension and the backlog that will inevitably result when court resumes will present varying degrees of inconvenience for our clients we are determined to get things moving again as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience.
