Edward R.T. Bullard
Edward R.T. Bullard was born in Griffin, Georgia. He graduated from the University of Georgia with an A.B. in English in 1998. He studied comparative law at the University of Provence in Aix-en-Provence, France in 1999. Mr. Bullard received his law degree from Louisiana State University in 2001. He worked with Newton & Howell in Griffin after graduating from law school and then accepted an associate’s position with Shepherd, Johnston & Owen in 2002. Mr. Bullard became a partner with the firm now known as Johnston, Owen & Bullard in 2006.
Mr. Bullard has represented a substantial number of businesses and financial institutions. He has litigated against several Fortune 1000 companies. His practice focuses primarily on wills and estates, general business litigation, contractual disputes, formation of new businesses, real estate, and commercial transactions.
Mr. Bullard has two daughters and is married to the former Tonya Silver of Griffin, Georgia. He is currently president of the Griffin-Spalding County Bar Association. He is a member of the First Baptist Church of Griffin where he is a Sunday school teacher.
